About Branchville Country Veterinary Clinic and Staff

Dr. Sherri L. Talbot-Valerio and her husband Paul L. Valerio were born and raised in Sussex County.  They both have deep family and business roots in this community and want to continue to provide professional services to their friends, neighbors and community.

Dr. T-V and her sister Kim, a pharmacist at Hackettstown Hospital, graduated from Frankford Township Elementary School and High Point Regional High School before heading off to college. Dr. T-V  attended undergrad at Virginia Tech and achieved her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Missouri, before returning to practice veterinary medicine in Sussex County.

Paul also graduated from both Frankford Township Elementary School and from High Point Regional High School before pursuing college courses at Orange County College. He started his own construction business over 26 years ago, and continues to work almost exclusively here in Sussex County. He did the renovations of the building that now houses Branchville Country Veterinary Clinic.

Dr. T-V's father, Tom Talbot, grew up in the Branchville area, graduated 8th grade from the Branchville (one room) School House, and after college returned to reside in Frankford Township for 30+ years. He taught Industrial Arts at High Point Regional High School, advised the Technology Team at HPRHS and worked as a marine mechanic during summer breaks.

Dr. T-V's Mom, Marilyn, moved to Sussex County, with Tom, over 40 years ago, taught Honors High School Math at Newton High for 20+ years, and continues to reside in Frankford.

Paul's mom, Carol, grew up visiting her family's farm in Sussex County. She and Paul's father, Len, moved here over 50 years ago. Len was an accountant, worked for Willis and Paul, and was instrumental in the founding of High Point Regional High School. Carol  served this community in many aspects, including Frankford Township Treasurer, and Secretary for Frankford Plains Cemetery.

Lori grew up in the Tri-state area and has been a Veterinary Technician for many years, assisting in both exam rooms & surgery, with special interests in dentistry and patient recovery.  She also handles ordering inventory and supplies and does some office management.

Lori is married and a proud mother of 3 children. She enjoys spending her time with her family, friends.

Sarah Bina is a long time resident of Sussex County and an avid animal lover and caretaker.  Her career as a veterinary technician began in 2005, although she has been working directly with animals for over 25 years. At BCVC Sarah has a special interest in emergency medicine and patient care. Outside of work, Sarah volunteers her time and skills at various community organizations including the Literacy Volunteers of Sussex County and the Samaritan Inn. Sarah enjoys spending time with her two horses, housecats, and her barn cats.

Dr. Eleanore DeBiassi (Dr. Norie) joined the BCVC staff in May, 2012. A longtime Sussex County resident, she lives on a small farm in Lafayette, N.J. with her husband, Ken Leonard, and a variety of animal friends. She has practiced veterinary medicine for over 20 years and often offers her services to shelters and rescue groups in Northern N.J.

Salem is a rescued barn cat who is BCVC's permanent
resident. He often comes to the reception area to greet
 clients.

Kathy Urban, pictured with her Australian Shepard Baily, who
she adores, joined our staff in April, 2013. She completed the
Stafford Career Institute Veterinarian Assistant course and
recently owned an 8 acre horse farm in Stillwater where she
had horses, goats, chickens, ducks, peacocks and llamas.
She also has two goldfish, Fred and Wilma.  Kathy loves
riding her HarleyDavidson, camping, and gardening, but
most of all loves  spending time with her daughters Melissa
and Jessica and boyfriend Steve.  She currently lives in
Blairstown.

Corinne Goerner, pictured with her Springer Spaniel "Moe," rejoined our staff in July 2014.  She has been involved in the veterinary life since she can remember, starting with her grandparents (Dr. Hallam) when she was very little and has continued her passion for animals, working for vet clinics for both small and large animals.  Corinne enjoys spending time outdoors with her horses and dogs.
Our Clinic is located right next to the Branchville Township Recreational Park (long ago it was the original site of the Sussex County Fairgrounds.)

Our office has a spacious waiting area--with a separate section for pets or owners who prefer it--and two exam rooms.  We also have a private room for end-of-life appointments.

BCVC is fully computerized, to 'go green' and cut down on paper usage.  We have digital x-ray, a modern surgical suite and dentistry area, a separate recovery room, and our in-house laboratory provides blood tests results within minutes.

We also offer Therapeutic Laser Treatments, behavioral consultations and wildlife rehabilitation.  Our experienced
staff is always willing to answer
your questions and help you find solutions to animal issues.

Feel free to call us--
